The top job at the Land and Transport Authority (L.T.A.) is up for grabs, as the current Chief Executive Officer's contract comes to an end.

The Office of the Minister of Works, Transport and Infrastructure is inviting interested and qualified candidates to express their interest in the top position of the L.T.A.

The position is being advertised on contractual terms of three years’ employment.

The job’s salary and benefits will be set in accordance with the Government’s existing remuneration packages set by the Government for Chief Executive Officers.

Interested applicants have a month until the deadline closes.

The position is currently held by Galumalemana Titi Schwalger; she was appointed as the L.T.A. Chief in early 2018.

Galumalemana has been with the L.T.A. since 2012.

Born and raised in Samoa, she joined the Authority upon completing a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Queensland.

Three years after joining the L.T.A., she became a divisional manager,  and another three years later, Cabinet appointed her as the C.E.O. of the Authority.
