Censorship and dictatorship
Re: P.M. Tuilaepa and media
Censoring or controlling the media is a sure pathway towards dictatorship.
A free press is an essential part of any democracy and The Observer is a good example of a paper that brings to public attention those activities and cases of wrongdoing.
With regards to the reporting of abuse cases we must always remember that an accused person is innocent until found guilty. Trial by media is very common in some countries hopefully never in Samoa.
