A water tank company is currently in negotiations with non-profit organisation Brown Girl Woke (B.G.W.) to provide families experiencing difficulties accessing water with a water tank.

Tank Guy Samoa Manager, Lei Craig-Silaga, confirmed the negotiations with the humanitarian organisation in an interview with the Samoa Observer.

She said they have been following the work of B.G.W. on social media and they are honored to assist with their work.

"We are honored, grateful and happy to help out with BGW and their donations. We have been following them on facebook and we are negotiating our partnership with them as of now," she said.

"We were told by BGW that they will be getting tanks from us to donate to the families who were featured in articles by the Samoa Observer and so we decided to help them out in their mission. Since we are a certified company for providing water tanks, we make sure that the water tanks are secured for our people and it comes with a 10 years warranty.”

Two families from Tufulele and Leulumoega have already been identified under the programme to be assisted with water tanks.

B.G.W. President and founder, Maluseu Doris Tulifau, took to social media to praise the partnership with Tank Guy Samoa.

“We are excited to partner with Tank Guy Samoa to help vulnerable families that haven't had access to water for years and especially during state of emergency it has been harder on these families,” she posted on Facebook.
