Graduation joy for Samoans at Victoria University
Several Samoans are among the jubilant group of graduates at Victoria University’s graduation, which is being carried out in different lots this week in Wellington.
One of them is Olisana Elizabeth Katrina Mariner, of Salelologa, Lano, Lalomanu and Tulaele.
The 21 year old former student of Vaiala Beach School and Robert Louis Stevenson School, as well as the UPY Programme at the National University of Samoa, graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business and Marketing.
Olisana is the daughter of Vui Sebastian and Shorley Mariner, who run the OSM Investments Group in Samoa, which includes engineering firm, OSM Consultants, and media and communications company, OneLook, at Lotopa.
Olisana and her parents thanked God for what He has done in her life and bringing her to this successful end.
They also acknowledged the Governments of Samoa and New Zealand for funding Olisana’s scholarship for the three year duration of her studies.
And they paid tribute to all their families, church and friends who supported her, one way or another.
