Wallabies squad for Manu unveiled

The Wallabies team to play the Manu Samoa on Saturday is a mixture of experience and youth.

There’s no dream match-up between prop brothers Michael and Allan Alaalatoa, with Allan being rested from the Wallabies 23. Bernard Foley gets a chance to make a claim for Christian Lealiifano’s Number 10 jersey.

The Samoan-Australian has been first choice this year but gets a rest on Saturday.

David Pocock will make a long awaited return to rugby and captain the side from openside flanker.

There’s also room in the side for fringe squad players, and even a few that have missed out on the Wallabies Rugby World Cup squad.

The match at Bankwest Stadium in Sydney kicks off at 10:30 pm Samoan time.
