A war of a different type

Dear Editor,

Regarding your editorial about China yesterday, I want to say this:

History might repeat itself once again, when war almost broke out in Samoa between the super powers in the early nineteen hundreds.

Only this time, they’re positioning themselves to carve up their piece of the pie to counter the Chinese expansionism since the sphere of influence is a little bit too crowded.

The geopolitics here is obvious since the concentration of Pacific nations head quarters for Climate Change is here in Samoa and it’s too dangerous for the Chinese to get too closer to some key Pacific countries in the eyes of the “five eyes.”

Very interesting developments.
