It's a double celebration for Bluesky winner, Pelepesite  Alofipo of Lotofaga.

With Mothers Day just around the corner, the 29-year-old mother of one won the Bluesky's 8^th Birthday promotion - “Win a Return Trip to New Zealand”.

Expressing surprise at the win, she said she started participating in the promotion since it started.

Her 35-year-old husband Penitito Alofipo is a seasonal worker in New Zealand.

"Well it was all from calling families and friends overseas persistently to top up my phone. But it was mostly my husband who is currently there for work.

"He’s one of the apple pickers for six months and he comes next week," she revealed.

"Return ticket to New Zealand and it's up to me how long I go for. And we’ll see what the plan is when he comes because surely I will take my son.

"The prize covers one person but I did request I couldn’t leave my baby behind so they said I can take him but I have to pay his fare myself," she told the Samoa Observer.

She said even if Bluesky doesn't carry out the promotion again, she will still by top up from overseas.

"I will still try and get top up from New Zealand if my husband returns to New Zealand for work because this is the only way for us to communicate.

"I get weekly top ups from him, whenever he gets his pay he sends me credit. If he’s always gonna go to New Zealand then he's always gonna top me up," she said.

Top-Up Pacific, which went live in last year, is a self-service top-up platform for all Bluesky Prepaid and Postpaid Capped mobile customers.
