Kiwi couple, Julie and Bruce Dyson have been impressed with Samoa.

For the first time, they have travelled together on a trip without their children, and Samoa is the perfect place for them to relax and escape the busy parenting life.

"It's so beautiful," Mr. Dyson said.

"It's very nice and so laid back, has a very warm climate and Samoa has great hospitality and we just love it."

The couple said they planned for a destination to just enjoy themselves and they found that in Samoa.

"We had been to Fiji and Rarotonga and so we though that we'd like somewhere that's not commercialised so we came to Samoa and we're enjoying it," Mr. Dyson added.

The couple also made some recommendation for Samoa's tourism sector.

"One thing we'd like to say and ask is maybe some more information on what to do in Samoa in resorts and hotels and stuff in the tourist's side," Mrs. Dyson said.

"We had a nice young man who toured us around but apart from that, we're not sure of what to do so maybe a little bit of more information for the tourists would do but so far, I love Samoa and it's beautiful."

Yesterday was their first day to the Savalalo Market and Mrs. Dyson said it was so beautiful that she bought beautiful flowers and wandered around town afterwards to get a feel of the Samoan way of life.

The couple look forward to their adventures during the rest of their stay as they already had on their first day at Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, and to explore the Samoan culture that they're slowly starting to learn.
