Members of the Worship Centre Christian Church from overseas countries and Samoa are gathering this week.

They are here for “The Holy Ghost Conference” which officially opened on Sunday night at Faleata Gym 1, Tuana’imato.

The opening also sees the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the church since it was first established in 1997.

Leader of the Church, Apostle Viliamu Mafo’e, opened the meeting.

“The Holy Ghost Conference is a vision from God, so everything we do is all depend on the leading of His Spirit,” he said.

“Not by might, nor by power but by His Holy Spirit.”

The idea is for church members to be refilled, refreshed and revived so they can go out and continue to minister the word of God.

Apostle Mafo’e urged church members to be spirit led and make the most of the speakers and the messages that have been prepared for the week.

As of today, the church have more than eighty parishes in Samoa and overseas countries, include, New Zealand, American Samoa, Hawaii, Australia, America, India and  Brazil with rough estimations of nearly 20,000 church members.

The conference is also looking at many issues for the development of the church and most importantly for people to learn more on God’s vision for the church in the last twenty years.

Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi  congratulated the church for reaching their 20 year anniversary and serving the Lord.
