Rest in peace, Fepulea’i Sinapi!

The country paid tribute to a visionary leader in the education sector on Sunday night.

The occasion was a Memorial Service for the late founding Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of the Samoa Qualifications Authority (S.Q.A) Fepuleai Sinapi Moli, who was laid in her final resting place at Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand yesterday.

The Minister of Education, Sports and Culture, Loau Keneti Sio, led a delegation from Samoa at her funeral.

On Sunday night, the S.Q.A, an organisation Fepuleai spent much of her life developing, organised a memorial service in her honour.

The Head of State, His Highness Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi and the Masiofo, Her Highness Filifilia Tamasese were among the mourners who shared stories, memories and reminisced about Fepuleai’s personal traits, academic and leadership achievements – especially her passion about the education system.
