The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Samoa donated computers and sports equipment to Falefitu Primary School.

The school was the first to be established in the Vaimauga district and students still lacked access to computer studies, but the donation changes everything.

School principal, Ana Latu Failauga said this is her first year to lead the school and she hasn’t seen anything like a computer ever since she joined as the principal.

Mrs. Failauga said the donation will improve the educational needs of the students and for them to have the opportunity to learn and study computer.

“I am more thankful because this is the best opportunity for us to promote our school and ask for assistance to renew our school buildings,” Mrs. Failauga said.

She told the Sunday Samoan that she is even happier that Ambassador Wang Xuefeng has assured his assistance in developing the school facilities.

“I have given them my contact number so I can get more details on our confirmed deal that they would build us a nicer school, which I am very proud of and looking forward to,” she said.
