Dear Editor

I hope the government of Samoa rebuild a new school for Vaimea Primary School, Alamagoto, Apia.

The children are currently in danger of using this rotten old school building with holes on the ceiling and around the walls of school hall and rooms. It’s a disgrace. The toilets are filthy and in very bad condition. It’s unbelievable!!! 

We were appalled to watch these students and teachers performing in such an unstable building with holes everywhere so outdated, old and nearly coming apart. 

The Prime Minister, Minister and Department of Education should make this a first priority to upgrade all schools and its facilities for children to study and for the safety of all students in every school. 

Shame! Shame! Shame. 

Do something.
