A 29-year-old man accused of stealing a vehicle that belonged to a doctor parked outside the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital has been found.

The man has been charged and is scheduled to appear in Court on 9 March 2017.

This was confirmed by the Media spokesperson for the Ministry of Police, Su’a Tiumalu, yesterday.

“It has confirmed that the car belongs to a doctor who was working at the time,” he said.

From their investigation, Su’a said the keys of the vehicle were left on the door while parked at Moto’otua that Friday.

Su’a said the wife of the accused man was the one who handed the keys to her husband.

The Police were alerted and the vehicle was recovered at Vaitele.

The number plate had been removed.
