Mixed opinions on Lupesoliai’s preparedness

Lupesoliai Joseph Parker scored a 4th round knock out against Solomon Haumono on Thursday night. The victory means he is a step closer to his much-anticipated world heavyweight title fight against Anthony Joshua. Is Lupesoliai Joseph Parker ready for Joshua? Sarafina Sanerivi asked in today’s Street Talk and this is what people said:

Ilo Uili - A’ai o Fiti

I don’t think he’s ready for Anthony Joshua. He needs more time to train and prepare for that. But he is doing very well so far.

Eti Ieremo - Lotopa

Parker is ready to fight Anthony. He is ready to become the World Champion and I am positive that he will win the fight with Anthony. I know it will be a tough fight but I still believe that Parker is ready to take Anthony down.

Saienisi Faauma - Malie

We all watched his fight last night (Thursday). He is ready to defeat anyone. And I think that he is ready to fight Anthony Joshua. He just needs more training to prepare for the fight, but I am sure he will not lose to Anthony.

Sairo Fa’ataga - Moata’a

Joseph Parker’s win proves that he’s as ready as he’ll ever be to fight Anthony Joshua. Anthony Joshua’s recent record proves that he won’t be a pushover. In my opinion the boxers are very close ability-wise So I can’t really pick a winner but I’m very sure that it will be a fight to remember.

Filipo Taufusi – Palisi

Of course Parker’s ready. We all watched his fight and how well he punched out Hamono. He’s got everything, experience, potential, confident and the ability to take down Anthony. It’s going to be a tough one because Anthony Joshua is a tough opponent and he is not going to be easy with our ‘local boy’. I am not sure when the fight will be but I am sure that it is going to be a really good fight to watch.

Fefiloi Kerstin. – Siusega

I’m not sure. Parker is a great boxer but so as Joshua. They are both tough and experience boxer. But I just think that Parker needs a little bit more time to relax and then start training for that fight. He just finished one fight this week, and I think he needs to relax for now then prepare to face Joshua.
