The Samoa Ports Authority grounds at Matautu, was the venue for a birthday occasion for the mayor of Apia, Tuiletufuga Siaosi Tuiletufuga.

Tuiletufuga, who is also referred to by his friends as ‘His Lordship’, turned 70 on Saturday, and his relatives, close friends and people of Apia gathered to celebrate with him.

It was a full house as the man of the hour, performed and sang for his guests. 

The gathering began with a short service led by Reverend Utufua Naseri. 

Tuiletufuga had been the mayor of Apia for 32 years.
