New Zealand-born flanker Teimana Harrison will make his debut for England in the one-off test against Wales at Twickenham on Sunday, with usual starter Chris Robshaw rested ahead of the team's upcoming tour to Australia.
Three more uncapped players — center Ollie Devoto, hooker Tommy Taylor and prop Ellis Genge — were among England's reserves when the team was announced Friday.
Owen Farrell, Billy Vunipola and locks Maro Itoje and George Kruis are unavailable because they are playing for Saracens in the English league final on Saturday.
Jack Clifford plays at No. 8 in place of Vunipola for his first start in what will be his sixth test appearance.
With Sam Warburton out with a shoulder injury, Wales will be captained by fellow flanker Dan Lydiate in a team that is close to full strength.
