A teacher has pleaded guilty to a charge of causing actual bodily harm in the Supreme Court.

Fereti Seve, who has since been fired from his teaching job at Wesley College, will appear for sentencing on 22 February 2016.

The incident which led to the charge involved a 17-year-old student Seve had taught.  The Court heard that Seve had beaten up Larry Samuelu of Toamua quite badly on 25 November 2015. The teacher will be sentenced by Justice Elizabeth Aitken.

In the meantime, the Court has asked for a pre-sentence report from the Probation Office and a complete summary of facts from the Prosecution.
