Focus on improving customer service
A five day training on Customer Service for frontline staff last week has left the participants feeling a lot more confident about delivering at their work places.
The training was delivered by Kim Chateris-Wright of Free Spirit Training and Development in New Zealand.
There were 29 participants from various businesses who took part and many gave positive feedback. Alaimalo Vasa, from Samoa Beverage Company said the training was very relevant.
“This training was very helpful for my line of work and can be applied easily into the workplace,” said Alaimalo.
“I am very grateful to have the opportunity to attend this workshop as it has helped build my confidence and capacity.”
The training was delivered by the Samoa Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Samoa In-country Training Programme of the Oloamanu Centre for Professional Development and Continuing Education of N.U.S.
The Samoa In-Country Training Program Manager, So’oalo Sydney Fa’asau, congratulated the participants on completing the course.
The Samoa Chamber of Commerce also acknowledges their development partners, NZ MFAT and AUS DFAT, through the Samoa Education Sector Plan budget support to the NUS, as well as the SICTP Manager, So’oalo and his team.
