Re: Samoa Observer Short Story Competition
I am writing to thank you and your team in initiating the opportunity for students from Primary Schools, Colleges and the National University of Samoa to compete in the Samoa Observer’s short story competition, ‘My World’. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to gain confidence and showcase their talent in story writing.
You have no idea how happy the nine students of Don Bosco College were when they received notification that they have been awarded prizes for their short story. It was such a big surprise and a proud moment for them and their families.
The achievement by these students has given them the self-confidence in their writing ability and an encouragement for all students of Don Bosco College. I am sure other students from other Colleges and Schools have benefited from the competition as much as the 9 students of Don Bosco College.
Thank you for this great initiative and team effort. Please extend our sincere gratitude to Ms Marj Moore and to all those involved in making Samoa Observer’s short story competition possible.
God Bless the Management and Staff of the Samoa Observer.
