Efforts by Netball Samoa with their development programmes is producing positive results in the BlueSky ‘Play Netball’ Tournament targeting players U10, U13 and U15. 

The tournament has attracted 24 teams, massive support from parents and families and the dedication of three young females training to be umpires. 

Rosemarie Esera, C.E.O Netball Samoa is overjoyed with the turnout of the tournament.

 “It was slow at first trying to get the numbers; however, we have seen the players continually coming back but also bringing with them their friends,” she said. 

“I have seen players develop improved skills in a positive sporting culture and with no barriers.”
