The excited faces of the newly selected squad training for their biggest event of the year to be held in Georgia at the end of the month.

They’re not just good at rugby. They can also paddle.

This week, the Pualele Outrigger Canoeing Club hosted the Manu Samoa Under 20s for a session on the water. 

Club President, Anthony Talouli and members of the Club helped the players with a few pointers about outrigger canoeing before they hit the water.

The team is preparing for the Junior World Cup in Tbilisi, Georgia 31 May - 18 June, 2017. The final squad was named yesterday.

The Pualele Club is also preparing for its biggest event of the year, the 10th Anniversary of the Savai’i Crossing, which starts on 31 May 2017 and ends on 2 June 2017. For more information, visit Pualele’s Facebook page.
