Re: Let’s not panic, says Tuala Oli Ah Him
You said: "...we shouldn’t panic because they are just children.”
What happen in 5 - 10 years with the "just kids"?
Young criminals in Tafa’igata prison? Jumping the fence?
Young street vendors by day might be not ideal but acceptable.
But at night the kids should be in care of the parents and at home.
As a tourist it is not very pleasant being always approached by the street kids. They try to sell stuff that the tourists do not need like matches, Q tips, warm soft drinks etc.
Every year we see more and more kids wandering the streets and they are getting more and more persistent. Some can be very rude and cheeky.
This will be a future problem in respect of security and tourism.
Finally Tuala, Prime minister Tuilaepa will be very proud of you !
