So the entry point for English for aspiring teachers at N.U.S.has gone UP to 50% for 2017? What?
Isn’t 50% only just a pass mark?
And if it has “gone up” to 50%, does this mean that intending teachers in the past were being accepted into the Faculty of Education with below 50%?

Could that be at all connected with the low literacy rates of many of our students?
