Manu Samoa coach, Namulauulu Alama Ieremia, has named a solid line up for his team’s opening test of their Northern Hemisphere tour against France on Sunday morning (Samoan time).

Captained by David Lemi, the team features a good balance of experienced and new blood; a combination coach Namulauulu hopes will be the recipe for success against the home team.

The team features the return of Kahn Fotuali’i, Paul Perez and Paul Williams, who will be such key assets for the backline.

"Obviously, we are trying to rebuild and move forward,” Namaulauulu said.

“In the November Test matches we have an opportunity to play tier 1 countries like France.

"For my point of view it's very exciting, especially because we have many players in Europe, in the UK and here in France, it's an opportunity for us to showcase what we can do collectively as Samoa."

The test kicks off at 6.45am Sunday Samoan time
