As I commented on several articles leading up to the election, this election was a farce from the start when lawsuits were filed based on the monotaga legislation. Even if all the candidates from opposition won their districts, the H.R.P.P still have full control of the government.
The card was stack against the opposition and, hiring an incompetent lawyer for its lawsuit against the government didn’t help.
It will be interesting to see new bills being introduced by the H.R.P.P within the next five years to discourage any type of opposition party to challenge its strong hold on our country.
Another five years of hardship for most of Samoa.
May God continue to guide us all!
