Time of spiritual growth, fellowship
Women members of the Samoan Methodist Church from all over the world are gathering at Faleula this week for a time of spiritual nourishment and fellowship.
They are representing the different synods at the ‘Au-uso’ Fealofani (Council of Women’s fellowship) annual meeting, officially opened on Monday.
The conference is being attended by more than 200 women – including Pastors’ wives, delegation leaders and supporters.
Delegates are attending from as far as the United States of America, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and other overseas countries.
They are joined by church members from Samoa for a week.
The conference this week will address a number of issues concerning the development of the women in the church and how they can further contribute to the enlargement of the kingdom of God on earth.
The women’s conference is the prelude to the main conference, which starts on Sunday.
