The opening of Aggie’s and the Air Tahiti Nui M.O.U are two of of the most important developments for our tourism industry since the Poly Blue merger was announced over a decade ago.
Firstly, the plans for Air Tahiti Nui to fly to Samoa and linking the key pacific rim markets are so important to the growth of our number one industry.
Sheraton coming to Samoa is the other one.
Next month, Lamana hotel opens after 40 years of previously failed ventures on Taumeasina island.
All of these things necessitate the expansion of the airport and other improvements in infrastructure (for example, the southern cross cable bringing massively improved internet speeds to Samoa next year).
