ALTERNATE VENUE

Shops next to the Savalalo markets have been told to close as construction starts for the new market. Many businesses will be impacted, and hopefully, they will be provided an alternate venue.

DANGEROUS

The service station in Vailoa is always full on a Sunday morning as others open later or are closed. However, the heavy and the long line that went onto the main road made it dangerous for drivers.

LIGHTS

It could have been the rain as a few of the traffic signals along the main road were not working. Traffic was not bad so police were not needed and luckily there were no accidents to report.

SEVENS

Spain beat Samoa twice in Singapore 7s. This is a good example of player development. For Samoa, they are now headed to the relegation playoffs. It would be a shame to get out of the top competition.

PROMISES

It seems a lot of election promises have not been fulfilled yet. Candidates unable to deliver on their promises should face disciplinary action for lying to the voters.

CONTROL

Parents need to have control over the social media apps used by their children, especially young teens. An incident over the weekend including leaked images of the child on social media is concerning.
