Are you shocked by the massive increase in your water bill?

Customer can easily monitor leakage in house by checking the customer meters.

The benefit is not only for the Samoa Water Authority (S.W.A.) in saving water loss but also the customers of S.W.A. for paying high water bills per month.

Water is necessary for the substance of human life.

While the supply seems abundant, water is not a limitless resource, particularly the fresh potable water most necessary to human survival.

And without conservation efforts, this vital supply of water may be exhausted.

For the third time this year 2018, with the help of the Japan International Corporation Agency (J.I.C.A.) under the Capacity Enhancement Project for Samoa Water Authority in cooperation with Okinawa (C.E.P.S.O.) Project, Tomonori Jahana from Okinawa, Japan is already in Samoa to continue working with Samoa Water Authority counterparts for leak detection.

Mr. Jahana is working with S.W.A. counterparts for leak repair and specific assignment area in leak detection. His activity will assist with Non-Revenue Water unit as well as raising awareness of activities related to leakage in home.

At the end of his mission, Mr. Jahana will expect to grasp water leakage condition in supply pipe and distribution main pipe in Alaoa Water Supply Scheme.

He will be here for five weeks to support a water leakage survey and training on Leak Detection skills.
