A couple from Australia is keen to check out what this country has to offer as they begin their Samoa adventures.

Nathany Wall and Pamela Rix are in the country for 12 days and are keen to explore the sights and learn as much as they can about their holiday destination.

The couple is based in Sydney, Australia.

Their first taste of Samoa hospitality is at the Taumeasina Island Resort and they love it.

“I used to go sailing on boats,” said Wall. “I read books about Robert Louis Stevenson and his experience in the Pacific and that made me want to visit Samoa.”

For Pamela, the visit is a chance to learn as much as she can about the place.

“We had a tour and it was very educational. The tour guide was very helpful to us, taking us to see some nice beaches and waterfalls.”

Pamela also reserved special praise for Taumeasina.

“The layout of the resort is really beautiful,” she said.

“The pool layout I think is the best one I have seen, the bar and everything goes together.”

Today, they will be visiting Manono.

“And next week we are going to visit Savaii Island for the day tour.”

The couple said they have loved the scenery and Samoa’s greenery, not to mention the beautiful coastline.

They are also celebrating their wedding anniversary in Samoa.
