Two former Football Federation Samoa (F.F.S.) senior officials have entered not guilty pleas to the charges against them.

Former F.F.S. President, Reverend Laupama Tokan Solomona and former F.F.S. Chief Executive Officer, Faumuina Michael Kapisi, pleaded not guilty through their lawyers on Monday.

The two men are jointly charged with one count of theft as a servant and one charge of theft by a person in a special relationship — in connection to a vehicle belonging to F.F.S.

Alex Su’a acted on behalf of Rev. Laupama while Charlie Va’ai represented Faumuina on behalf of lawyer, Te’o Richard Fa’aiuaso.

Lawyer Lucy Sio Ofoia and Quentin Sauaga, of the Attorney General's Office, appeared as the prosecutors.

Presiding Justice Leiataualesa Daryl Clarke adjourned the matter for hearing on the week commencing 25 November 2019.

Rev. Laupama and Faumuina are being remanded on bail.
