Police arrest two men over drugs possession
Police have arrested two men for the possession of marijuana.
The Samoa Police Service advised through their Facebook page that on Wednesday at around 7.30am, Faleata Police arrested and charged two men, one aged 42 from Vaitele-uta and Tuanaimato and the other aged 27 of Mulifanua and Tafaigata for the possession of cannabis.
A raid was conducted by the Police due to concerns by a number of members of the public reporting the sighting of marijuana activities at the Tafaigata area.
A total of 162 plastic bags of marijuana dried leaves, branches and marijuana seeds were seized by the Police during the raid.
The Police acknowledged the public for their support in their fight against illicit drugs and encouraged them to contact their Narcotics Division on 22 222 ext. 292 or any nearest police station to report the sighting of illicit drugs.
