Fepulea’i recommended to be President of Court
The Clerk of the Legislative Assembly, Fepuleai Ropati Atila, could soon become the new President of the Land and Titles Court.
That’s if a recommendation made by the Judicial Service Commission to Cabinet is accepted and endorsed.
The Ministry of Justice and Courts and Administration, Chief Executive Officer, Papali’i John Taimalelagi confirmed the recommendation yesterday.
“We are waiting for Cabinet’s decision,” he said.
The Commission is Chaired by Chief Justice, his Honour Patu Tiava’asue Falefatu Sapolu. Other members include the Attorney General and the Minister of Justice and Courts Administration.
Asked for a comment, Fepuleai declined.
He said he would wait for Cabinet’s decision.
