Fight for Marist guest meets top officials
A former Australian Olympic boxing coach, Bodo Andreas, who is in the country for the Marist International Sports Week, met with Prime Minister and Patron of Marist St. Joseph’s Sports Club, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi yesterday.
The two discussed support for a school boxing programme, and the inclusion of women in boxing development programmes as well as training clinics for Samoa Amateur Boxing Association (S.A.B.A.) officials.
Mr. Andreas also met with the Minister of Education, Sports and Culture, Loau Keneti Sio.
During the meetings, he was accompanied by Fight for Marist Tournament Director, Tavu’i Mike Lemisio and President of S.A.B.A, Fesola’i Va’aiga Tu’igamala.
