Christmas and the Festive season might be over but for the children at the Samoa Victim Support Group, the celebration continues.

On Friday, the survivors of sexual and other abuse crimes, hosted a visit from the country’s biggest private sector employer, Yazaki Eds Samoa.

The company representatives arrived with gifts, showering the children with love, laughter and joy.

As part of their corporate responsibility, the General Manager of Yazaki (E.D.S), Funefeai Oliver Vaai, said they were delighted to put a smile on the children’s faces.

He acknowledged the work of the Samoa Victim Support Group in caring for the abused children.

“We want to give away to those who appreciate it,” he said.

“And surely the children will be happy about getting gifts such as umbrellas and Bluetooth speakers and so forth.”

“We believe that this is the best place to share this special moment.”

And it was.

The joy on the children’s faces was evident.

“We have always been working closely with the S.V.SG team and we are very happy to restart that special collaboration.”

S.V.S.G President Siliniu Lina Chang was a grateful woman.

In acknowledging Yazaki’s generosity, she wished the company all the best.

“They have always been there for us,” she said. “Thank you.”
