The two defendants accused of breaking in and burning Coin Save at Fugalei appeared in Supreme Court yesterday.

Jack Michael Oge and Robert Kalati Smith appeared before the Chief Justice, His Honour Patu Tiava’asue Falefatu Sapolu.

During their brief appearance, Oge indicated he was ready for the hearing.

But Smith, through his lawyer, asked the Chief Justice if he could be given some time to find a lawyer.

The request was granted.

“You will still remain in custody and this matter will be called again for mention on the 18th April.”

Last month the company’s newest branch at Fugalei was burnt.

According to the Police Spokesperson Su’a Muliaga Tiumalu C.C.T.V footage helped the Police identify the suspects.

The men are facing charges of arson, burglary and theft.
