Church celebrates milestone

From humble beginnings, the Apia Harvest Centre Church has continued to be amazed by the greatness and favour of God.

After shifting from one temporary location to another over the years since its establishment in 1999, the Church finally moved into its new, permanent compound at Togafuafua in December 2008.

Seven years on, the multicultural church is now set to celebrate another milestone in its history when it dedicates its church hall and AHC Bible College facilities on Saturday, 12th March 2016.

Costing about $890,000, the project took 11 months to complete.

And it has been well worth the effort.

“We thank God for His faithfulness in bringing this project to completion,” said senior pastor of Apia Harvest Centre Church and Principal of the AHC Bible College, Rev. Faafetai and wife, Lottie Fata.

“We also acknowledge the faithfulness and commitment of all our people in the church to God’s work, which this new hall and Bible college facilities are a testament of.”

The hall will serve a multipurpose function while the classrooms and other facilities will cater for the church’s Bible College, which began in 2012 with the aim to equip people from all walks of life in the Word of God so that they can be more effective in doing God’s work.

The facilities will be dedicated by Reverend Dr. Tavita Pagaialii, Assistant Superintendent for the Assemblies of God, Samoa and the main sermon will be delivered by Reverend Joe Amosa, General Superintendent for the Assemblies of God, Samoa.

Caretaker Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi was the keynote speaker at the opening ceremony.

The hall and Bible College facilities’ opening coincides with the start of the academic year on Monday 14th March, 2016.

The Bible College is inter-denominational and is open to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of the Bible and get to know God more.
