PR - The Samoa Police Service would like to acknowledge the support of the village mayor and council of Salelologa for assisting police in their investigation in connection to the Salelologa market incident that was reported on social media a few weeks ago.

The two male individuals identified on social media vandalising the Salelologa market have now been charged and remanded in custody at Tafaigata prison to await their court cases.

A total of four have now been arrested and remanded in custody in connection to this incident.

The Police investigation is continuing with the assistance of both Salelavalu and Salelologa village councils.

S.P.S. reminds the general public especially the youth of Samoa to contact the police if assistance is required especially with regards to matters concerning public safety.

We urge our young people to refrain from taking matters into their own hands.

Prison time and/or a prison record will impact on future opportunities. Re-think, re-evaluate your own choices. Your future is in your hands!
