Bluebird Lumber and Hardware is celebrating 25 years of service to Samoa, giving back to the community.

On Friday, the company donated $10,000 to the Samoa Offering Hope (S.O.H) initiative to help people affected by the Savalalo flea market fire.

Andrew Ah Liki Jr. represented the company in presenting the cheque to S.O.H’s Chairperson, Adele Kruse.

This donation was a gesture from the hearts of the company and also a way of celebrating their 25th anniversary

“Our heart goes out to all those affected by the recent incident that happened at the flea market,” Mr. Ah Liki said

“As part of our 25th anniversary promotion we would like to present this cheque of $10,000tala to S.O.H in hopes that this will help benefit those who were affected.”

This donation also shows how serious Bluebird is with their brand new slogan

“With the coming of the new renovation here at Bluebird we have come up with a new slogan of ‘Building beyond for you,’” Mr. Ah Liki said

“This means that we want to give back to the community”

“We know that it is very important to be able to give back to those who were affected.

“We wanted to show our appreciation to the community who have also helped us and supported us in our endeavors”

Ms. Kruse was very happy and grateful.

“This is absolutely a wonderful gift. We thank you and your family who are pillars of this community and we know that you’ve contributed a lot to our Samoa.”
