“When two people are meant for each other, no time is too long, no distance is too far and no one can ever tear them apart.”

With those words, JK Tavale made Wanda Muaausa Pau his wife and partner for life, sealed before God yesterday.

The newlyweds celebrated the beginning of their journey during a service conducted by Reverend Elisaia Koria at the Congregational Christian Church at Matauutu-Uta.

United in love and together for a purpose, the lovebirds exchanged matrimonial vows before God in the presence of their families and friends after overcoming a long distance relationship for three years.

The bride, Wanda Mua’ausa Pau, is 28. She is a school teacher at Apia Primary School at Malifa.

The groom, JK Tavale is 33 years old and works at a mining company in Australia.

The lovebirds crossed paths three years ago, fell madly in love with each other and are now embarking on their new journey as a married couple.

The celebration continued at the Faleata Golf Course yesterday where they were joined by their families and friends from Samoa and overseas.
