Prime Minister Tuilaepa Dr. Sa’ilele Malielegaoi delivered a cash donation of NZ$640 (T$1,088) collected by the Colwill School Massey East Auckland in New Zealand to Sister Martha Lee for the Mapuifagalele Home of Aged at Vailele.

Mapuifagalele was selected by the Prime Minister as the benefactor of the donation. On Monday this week, the Prime Minister presented the donation.

He also notified the School Principal, Rob Taylor, in writing;

“I thank you for your School’s donation of NZ$640.00 hand-delivered to me by your delegation that called on me at my Office recently for use for any purpose of my choice as Prime Minister of the Government of Samoa,” Tuilaepa wrote.

“This money was collected by your students and teachers as token of your kindness and willingness to help in this way to assist those in need following the Cyclone Gita and flooding early this year. I have therefore chosen the Old People’s Home at Mapuifagalele to be the beneficiary of your donation.”

“I hope you will accept what I have done. I thank you for your generosity.”
