A new beginning for a new year.

And so it was yesterday when Seri Tagaloa and Fareni Uili tied the knot, cementing their love for one another in holy matrimony.

The couple met while they were both attending the Tesese Institute of Studies at Lalovaea five years ago.

Having found jobs at Hotel Tanoa Tusitala, their love blossomed over the years until they decided that yesterday was the day to make their commitment official. The couple exchanged vows in front of families and friends at the Methodist Church at Sinamoga.

Seri, 21, is the daughter of Tagaloa Lama and Naotala Tufuga, of Sinamoga. She is the third child of six siblings.

Fareni, 25, is the son of Toluono Folau and Luafaleali’i of Lepuia’i Manono Uta.

The maid of honor and the bestman were Tina Prasad and Frazer Taulealo.

The bridesmaids were Hazel Tufuga, Temukisa Lama, Waizu Ropeti and Agela Tofilau.

And the groom’s men were Fa’aliga Seumanutafa, Hinemoa Sefulutasi, Viliamu Folau and Ulia Manoa Schwalger.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Faleata Golf Course where the couple, friends and families danced the evening away.
