The owners of Samoa Stationery and Books (S.S.A.B) have shown their appreciation for the hard work of their staff members with an end of year gathering at their residence at Moamoa last week.

Aumua Ming and Fiti Leung Wai enjoyed an evening of laughter, dance and plenty of celebration with their workers. It was an opportunity to thank God for his guidance as well as reflect on what has been a massive year of growth for the company.

“God has always been with SSAB since the beginning and I truly believe we are in His favor,” said Mrs. Leung Wai.

“We have come this far because of Him hence why we always put Him first in all that we do.”

The company has certainly come a long way.

“Since S.S.A.B’s inception in 2008 we started with just four employees,” she said.

“After eight years we have more than 100 staff members of S.S.A.B in Upolu and Savaii alone not counting S.S.A.B Pago and Sei Oriana in New Zealand.

“One of the biggest highlights of this year is the opening of the Sei Oriana Gift Shop in New Zealand which is a huge step for S.S.A.B. I truly believe that this shows we are in God’s favor.”

The Managing Director thanked her staff for their hard work and loyalty.

“I am very happy to see that my staff is loyal, you all work together, laugh together and eat together which shows the unity within you,” she said. “And for that I want to thank each and every one of you for making this year a memorable one.”
