Still proud of the Manu
Dear Editor,
Re: Manu Samoa against the All Blacks
First twenty minutes was good, the rest showed the following;
No defensive strategy, giving away possession by our halfback kicking unnecessarily, very unfit looking, backs were flat on attack, no drifting defence... The positives; good loose forward play, good attack from breakdown (something we should do more often to create options of attack for our backs), good centre breaks.
The All Blacks are world champs by taking into account many factors, they’re top athletes who train for example, with nutrition in mind, mental fitness, physical hardness, spiritual mana!
Plus, the Super Rugby has prepared them well. Most of our players are on their off season from the Northern Hemisphere, which may have had a contributing factor? Still proud of the Manu though! Work harder and smarter, never give up!
