Let parents do their job

Re: Father worries about future of youth

“I see so much contradiction in Samoan society towards children.

Most families would say children are a blessing but at the same time i see very little love shown.

They are beaten for wrongdoing, they eat last at meals, and many have a slave’s existence doing feaus or babysitting younger siblings.”

I was in total agreement with you from the beginning of your comment, until the above quoted paragraph.

It seems right to blame parents, but we must also handcuff them and tape up their mouth so that they won’t be able to discipline their children and or train their children how to work to give them the experience that will help them as adults and assign them tasks in order to learn, and don’t allow them to learn how to wait and be patience and respect them who are older and above them.

No wonder we are in a terrible mess, we want the parents to do their job and train their children but at the same time we want them not to do it.

This world is definitely becoming so confuse. Poor parents, damn if they do and damn if they don’t.
