Not all Samoans are stupid

Dear Editor,

Re: The issue of customary lands in Samoa

First, they send in their intelligence (missionaries) to scope the field and send the information back to their headquarters.

Followed by helping the natives with education to gain the trust of the people than they set up a govt. and infrastructure.

Setting up commerce and land were bought with guns, umbrella, bush knives etc and the rest was history.

I guess your friend was right Maua.

Christianization was the right of passage in exchange for our land. But guess what, not all Samoans are stupid.
