Wrong direction

Re: Airlines and economics

In order to have an honest discussion about the airline and economics situation, politics and government must be inserted back into the conversation.

You discuss a controlled manipulated market, but make no mention of the cause. Poor regulatory controls.

Competition is only detrimental to Samoa’s economy when the legal framework has not been improved or enforced by government.

Even more so, when the government is corrupt.

The virtues of competition outweighs all of the government’s greed, the constant defence of their actions is moving in the wrong direction.
