Learn from what happened, Associate Minister!

Dear Editor,

Re: Associate Minister rejects reports

Can I suggest to you Sooalo Mene that after the government 8 hours of work, park the government car at home... get in your personal car and do whatever you want.

How many times have we seen government workers abuse the government vehicles for personal purposes?

This is why people are complaining and questioning the integrity of your services, blaming the government for abusing of government assets.

I don’t get your comment about personal attacks hurting people. You had an ugly confrontation with your wife in public. It was obvious that it is not a good look for someone holding such a senior position to behave like this in a public place.

As a Minister or Associate Minister, you are a public servant, a prominent public figure.

You have already made your vows to our people that you will serve them with the best of your ability, going the extra mile to uphold our government laws and regulations.

I hope this won’t happen again.

May God bless our government and our beautiful Samoa.
