Between the Lines
DRUNK
There are reports that candidates who showed up at the counting centre may have been under the influence of alcohol. Not very leader-like behaviour from the elected representatives of the people.
PRIME MINISTER
It may be a bit premature, but people have already started calling the leader of the red party the prime minister. Word is that banners and billboards have already been ordered.
RUNNING OUT

GRABAGE COLLECTION
A housewife is concerned that if a new government is not formed in time to get money for government services, the collection of garbage will not happen. That and other things could happen.
DEVIOUS
A group of ladies are going to houses asking if they could have a few breadfruit for their umu being done for the sick mother. These women are indeed collecting breadfruit for umu, but not for their mother, but to sell and make a profit without much cost.
SPECTATORS
The Fijian Drua hosting seven home games resulted in close to $200 million in tourism revenue alone. This is the second year running, and the Moana Pasifika are not playing at Apia Park. That’s right, Apia is not fit to host spectators.
