Nearly two dozen Samoans currently working in Australia under the Recognised Seasonal Employer (R.S.E.) scheme have reported testing positive for the COVID-19 virus currently surging across the country, the Samoa Observer can reveal.

This newspaper contacted some of the workers currently in Huonville in the Australian state of Tasmania and confirmed that they have been put in isolation for seven days, upon receiving the results of their tests on Tuesday.
